Oklahoma’s Hallett Motor Racing Circuit holds a special place in the hearts of people who have raced there, so when NASA MidAmerica added Hallett as a crossover event to its schedule, lots of NASA Texas racers who are accustomed to go there once a year showed up like it was a Texas event.

Of course, this being Oklahoma in the summer, weather can be tricky, as was the case at this year’s event, which got rain-soaked early in the weekend, and brought about some challenges.

One such challenge was the source for this week’s NASA Racing Gear Store Move of the Month. As NASA Texas Spec Miata racer Erin Price heads into what is literally called “Everybody’s Favorite Turn” on a track map, she noticed competitor Chris Schaffer didn’t make the turn and went four-off.

She then turned her eyes ahead to see Teen Mazda Challenge driver Andrew Adleta also had gone four-off at corner exit in a particularly muddy section. As luck would have it, Adleta comes back on track and spins off to the left just as Price is coming through. She gets off the gas to transfer weight to the front, makes the appropriate correction and goes on her merry way. Everybody’s favorite turn, right?
