We have seen the Kink at Carolina Motorsports Park often serve as a leaping-off point to making a pass and making it stick. This week’s installment of the NASA Racing Gear Store Move of the Month does that and more. It leads to a pass that leads to the win.
NASA Southeast Spec3 racer Chris Araj passes No. 171 Bob Ross at the exit of the Kink, but Ross wasn’t done fighting. He stays on Araj and gets a wheel up on Araj on the inside of the last turn to the front straight, but the outside gives Araj a better run down in the drag race to the Start/Finish line.
Making the pass stick, taking the win. Well done, Chris. We, uh, need to find a way to punch-up your in-car celebrating skills a bit.
