Sure, starts are always busy, but this one seems a bit busier than usual. And this installment of the NASA Racing Gear Store Move of the Month, NASA Mid-Atlantic German Touring Series 3 driver Vernon McClure has his hands full with traffic ahead.
Not only that, he also has a mirror full of No. 99 Collin Swanger, who nearly passed him in VIR’s tricky, but oh-so important Turn 5. McClure comes out ahead of Swanger and sets his sights on getting around the Mustang that kept Swanger from making the pass.
McClure closes the gap and takes the Mustang under braking into the fast left-hander Turn 10 and charges forward on his way to two GTS3 wins at the HyperFest event.
