For this week’s NASA Racing Gear Store Move of the Month, NASA Mid-Atlantic GTS3 racer Eric Wong took on NASA Northeast racer Scott Bassinder at the NASA Northeast inaugural event at Watkins Glen. Needless to say the season opener was unseasonably cold and wet, and Wong only had half a clear windshield to work with.

During the last lap of Saturday’s race, Wong and Bassinder were both vying for the lead and the win. Bassinder had the lead for much of that lap, but Wong was able to get around him and see clearly enough at the very end to take the checkered flag and the win in German Touring Series 3. Slick driving, gentlemen, literally and figuratively.

Eric Wong took the GTS3 win on Saturday in the rain, thanks to good rain tires and a defroster that cleared the driver’s side of the windshield.
