TTD - Marc Cantor drove his E36 M3 to the TTD Championship with a lap time of 2:11.317.

Time Trial drivers got off to a slow start in the early stages of the 2015 Eastern States Championships at VIR. Heavy rains and a wet track meant quick lap times just weren’t possible. However, as the event unfolded, the skies cleared, the track dried out and the competition heated up. Here are this year’s winners:

Gil Smith posted a 1:55.709 lap time, some 2 seconds faster than the runner up, and scored the TT1 Championship.

Donnie Hylton drove his 2006 Corvette Z06 to a lap time of 1:59.855, which was nearly 4 seconds faster than the runner up.

Eric Wong is a Mid-Atlantic racer, so VIR is familiar to him, which helped him drive his way to a TT3 Championship.

Rick McPherson posted the fastest TTU time at 1:51.853 and took home the Championship.
