NASA is pleased to announce that Hoosier Racing Tire will be the presenting sponsor for this year’s Championships event at Sebring International Raceway. The official name of the event will be “The 2026 NASA Championships Powered by Hoosier.”
The title sponsorship is significant for Championships competitors because Hoosier also is sponsoring “The Hoosier Hot Pits,” where Hoosier engineers and technicians will be on hand to take tire temperatures and pressures for any competitor that pulls in. That means any Time Trial or racing class, regardless of what tires are on the car. This is part of a multiyear agreement.
“We wanted to provide our competitors at the 2026 NASA Championships Powered by Hoosier with resources they might not have had otherwise, and we are so grateful to our partners at Hoosier for making them available,” said NASA CEO Jeremy Croiset. “We thought that having highly trained people in “The Hoosier Hot Pits” to take temperatures and pressures was a great idea, and a valuable service for our competitors. We hope this addition to the event allows competitors to enjoy the NASA Championships Powered by Hoosier experience even more.”
Hoosier Racing Tire is the largest race tire manufacturer in the world, with more than 1,000 different types of race tires. The company has its own 300-mph test wheel and technology center, state-of-the-art, fully integrated production facilities, and a high-tech mixing plant. It has been integrated into the Continental Specialty Tire Business Unit and continues to strive for growth, domestically and internationally.
“We’re proud to expand our support of NASA and its pinnacle event — the 2026 NASA Championships Powered by Hoosier,” said Paul Menting, VP of Sales, Hoosier Racing Tire. “This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to NASA and its drivers, backed by Hoosier’s industry-leading products and service at every level of competition.”
