The Ford 5.0-liter Coyote engine was developed to compete with modern high-power offerings, and the Mustang is becoming more and more popular in HPDE, Time Trial and racing.

Upgrading to a Fluidampr performance damper when engine mods are done further ensures long-term durability and optimum power by controlling crankshaft torsional vibration. In addition, a custom mandrel to power racing parts, such as a dry sump, can easily be installed by using the damper’s pre-drilled and tapped 3.2” bolt circle pattern. $742 at time of publication.
