White and red Toyota GR Supra serving as the official NASA Pace Car.

For the fifth consecutive year, a Toyota GR model will take center stage as the official pace car for the NASA Championships, leading the field of top amateur drivers at the annual event. For 2025, it’s the Toyota GR Supra, a high-performance sports car built for enthusiasts who crave precision, power, and pure driving excitement. With its 382-horsepower turbocharged inline-six and razor-sharp handling, the GR Supra has earned a devoted following among drivers worldwide.

This year’s event will take place from September 4-7, 2025, at Ozarks International Raceway in Gravois Mills, Missouri. Known for its dramatic elevation changes on the thrilling 19-turn circuit, the track promises a challenging yet exhilarating experience for both drivers and spectators. Wearing Toyota GAZOO Racing’s striking red, white, and black livery, the GR Supra will lead competitors from 14 NASA regions nationwide, setting the stage for fierce competition and unforgettable moments.

“At Toyota, our passion for performance and motorsports runs deep, and we’re honored to support grassroots racing through our partnership with NASA,” said Mike Tripp, group vice president, Toyota Marketing. “We’re especially proud to have the GR Supra pacing the 2025 Championships at Ozarks International Raceway, marking its debut as the official NASA Championships pace car.”

As the official pace car, the GR Supra will lead NASA competitors in what promises to be one of the most intense weekends of racing. The technical layout of Ozarks International Raceway will test the skill and endurance of all participants, offering an electrifying spectacle for fans trackside and watching via livestream.

The pace-car role is just one part of Toyota GAZOO Racing’s commitment to the enthusiast community. Through its ongoing partnership with NASA, every purchaser of a new GR sports car receives a complimentary one-year NASA membership, which includes a free High Performance Driving Event track day, a thrilling opportunity to refine driving skills in a safe, controlled environment.

“The relationship between Toyota and NASA has been an incredible way to introduce sports car owners to the world of performance driving in a safe and responsible manner,” said Jeremy Croiset, Chief Executive Officer of NASA. “We’re thrilled to have the GR Supra as the official NASA Championships pace car, and we anticipate a lot of exciting races at Ozarks International Raceway. Those who can’t attend in person can tune in on nasachamps.com to witness some of the best amateur racing in the country.”
