Having a bit grip left in reserve can pay dividends when it comes time to avoid a hazard in front of you. It was certainly handy for NASA Texas racer David Lecko during the 2024 NASA Championships at Ozarks International Raceway.

Lecko’s quick reflexes combined with that little bit of grip in reserve allowed him to avoid the slowed car and pick up the top prize for the November 2025 Move of the Month, a $100 gift car to the NASA Racing Gear Store Move of the Month.

As Lecko exited turns 4 and 5 and pointed his car toward the corner worker station at Turn 6. He crested the hill to find an off-pace car right where he was headed. Lecko added a dab of brake to load the front end and steered around the car and continued on his way.

Congratulations to David Lecko!
