NISMO and NASA are pleased to announce that NISMO is returning in 2026 as an official contingency partner. Nissan Motorsports has been supporting NASA since 2012 in Spec Z, a tightly controlled spec class with most of the approved parts available from Nissan’s Motorsports department.

The 2026 program includes payouts for racing in Spec Z, Time Trial and Super Touring classes. NISMO also offers a contingency purse for the NASA Championships. To claim full contingency payout, the Championships event must have 10 or more vehicles in class starting event. The programs includes all Nissan vehicles. The payout information is located on the contingency page.

Teams and drivers competing in an eligible Nissan vehicle who sign up for this program will be eligible to purchase discounted parts from NISMO. Like nearly all contingency programs, there are decal and suit patch requirements to qualify for the program, and directions for claiming your contingency prizes, all of which is detailed on the NISMO contingency page on the NASA website.
