NASA MidAmerica has announced the new dates for the NASA 25 Hours at Ozarks. The longest closed-course endurance race in North America has been confirmed for June 25-28.

NASA MidAmerica also has debuted a new special pricing structure to help teams and drivers measure and contain costs. The entry fee for a single-car team will be $3,500. Any team with two or three cars can pay a single flat entry fee of $5,000. That single entry allows the running of all three of the team cars under that single entry fee, with no limit on the number of drivers per team. The “Multi-car Team Entry” will be provided to teams interested in the opportunity on an “invitational basis.”

Anyone wishing to take advantage of that option is encouraged to select the event reservation fee during the checkout process. This will enter your team into the selection process and a NASA Mid America representative will reach out with further details.

“The NASA registration team will work with team principals to help register their vehicles and drivers. Teams eligible for the discounted “Multi-Car Team Entry” option will be selected from teams that have completed the reservation fee,” said NASA CEO Jeremy Croiset. “Once you have registered using the “reservation fee” option, you will be contacted with additional information to move forward with either a single-car entry or a discounted multi-car entry.”

There also are new rules and car classing to reflect the variety of cars that are popular in endurance racing.

Pitting During Safety Car and Full Course Yellow

For the first time in the event’s history, we will permit teams to enter the pits during full-course yellow or safety car periods. This is in direct response to customer feedback, which should increase opportunities for teams to use pit stops as part of their strategies.

New Safety Car Protocols

New for 2026, during safety car periods, the field will be reorganized to enhance the competition during the event, allow lapped traffic to be reshuffled out of the middle of the field, and make the racing more enjoyable for the competitors on track.
Registration for the NASA 25 Hour opens today. Interested teams can enter early by paying a $250 reservation fee that will be applied to the final entry cost to secure a team’s spot. The balance of the entry fees will be due at a date that will be announced early in 2026.
A promotional “Race to the 25” event also is planned for March 27-29 to serve as a practice endurance race. That event will feature a six-hour enduro on Saturday and close with a five-hour enduro on Sunday. Registration will be opening for that event in the coming weeks.
