NASA is pleased to announce that it will manage operations for the Southern California region from its national office headquarters for the 2024 season. NASA National Chairman, Ryan Flaherty will serve as the interim Regional Director, but has plans to invite guest event directors throughout the season. These events will present the opportunity for guest directors to learn what it takes to run a large-scale motorsports event, and gather new insight and ideas directly from the driving and racing community. Flaherty founded the NASA SoCal region and was its Regional Director for 20 years.

“I’m excited to get back to ground-level operations, and I look forward to delivering a premium event experience for our members,” Flaherty said.

NASA SoCal already has announced its 2024 schedule, with nine events, including the NASA Championships at Utah Motorsports Campus Sept. 5-8, 2024. Event registration for 2024 will open January 2. More details, including event dates for the Western Endurance Racing Championship series, will be announced in the future. Please visit for additional information.
