This is a correction from Wednesday’s Speed News email release.
The results are in, the “likes” have been tallied and the winner of the March Yokohama Move of the Month is NASA NorCal’s Alexander Tarradelles-Newell, whose video garnered 589 views and received 36 likes.
In the life of a racer, few things feel as satisfying and rewarding as a well-executed, hard-fought pass on a competitor. It’s even better when you can get two cars in one corner, as was the case for Alexander Tarradelles-Newell at the 2022 NASA Championships at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Entering Turn 4, Tarradelles-Newell gets on the bumper of Scott Adams who is fighting to get by Jonathan Baker, and he ends up getting by both of them in Turn 5 cleanly.
NASA National partner Yokohama Tire is sponsoring the Yokohama Move of the Month by providing handsome wall plaques to each month’s winner. Lankford is the March winner, but there’s a whole new crop of candidates up for consideration in the April round of the Yokohama Move of the Month. Be sure to check out all of this month’s videos and click like on the one you enjoyed most. We’ll announce the April winner the third Wednesday of May, when we’ll be posting four more Yokohama Move of the Month candidates.
