The results are in, the “likes” have been tallied and the winner of the February Yokohama Move of the Month is NASA SoCal’s Ty Gi, whose video garnered 878 views as of March 13, and received 52 likes, more than double his nearest competitor.

During a rain-soaked race at the 2022 NASA Championsips, Ty Gi had the right line going into Turn 10 at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. However, in the rain, that’s not where the grip is, and Gi went for a spin at corner exit. Some heads-up driving by Gi and his competitors allow Gi to spin and continue on his way to finish ninth in 944 Spec at the 2022 NASA Championships. It was one of a couple of moments of drama in Gi’s race.

NASA National partner Yokohama Tire is sponsoring the Yokohama Move of the Month by providing handsome wall plaques to each month’s winner. Gi is the inaugural winner, but there’s a whole new crop of candidates up for consideration in the March round of the Yokohama Move of the Month. Be sure to check out all of this month’s videos and click like on the one you enjoy most. We’ll announce the March winner the third Wednesday of April, when we’ll be posting four more Yokohama Move of the Month candidates.
