The thunder of the Ford V8 is alive and well in NASA, and so is the 2023 contingency program from Ford Performance. A longtime supporter of NASA and its racing drivers, Ford Performance is offering cash prizes for regional competition in Spec Iron, with $250 for first place, $200 for second and $50 for third when there are three or more starters.

For a regional championship, the program expands to include Spec Iron, American Iron, American Iron Extreme and even Super Touring classes. A regional championship pays $700, $500 and $250 for the first three places.

For the NASA Championships, the payouts get a big boost, with $2,000 for first place, $1,000 for second and $750 for third when there are five or more starters. These payouts apply to AI, AIX, SI and ST classes.

Interested drivers can check out all the program and claim requirements at the Ford Performance contingency page on DriveNASA.com.
