If you don’t have any idea how close the racing is in Spec MX-5, this installment of the NASA Racing Gear Store Move of the Month should give you a better idea.
Starting from 10th place, Spec MX-5 driver Michael Neumeyer gets a good start at Sonoma Raceway, one of the two best tracks in California and arguably one of the best in the country. Follow along as they dice and chase for a couple of laps using the “NASCAR Chute” configuration.
When racing resumes after a double yellow, Neumeyer is able to get by a few competitors. If you really want to get in on the fun, Neumeyer’s car is now for sale on the Spec MX-5 website. If not, this video is great fun to watch.
