A rainstorm can set you back, and sometimes you don’t experience it till the next day. For NASA Racing Gear Store Move of the Month, NASA Northeast German Touring Series racer Sean McElgun sat out the previous day because of a big rainstorm. That put him at the back of the field for what became a jumbled start of the race because grid position was determined by the finishing position from the previous day’s race.

At the start, McElgun put his head down and began picking off GTS2 competitors one by one. There was an instance or two where McElgun had to put in some opposite lock to complete the pass, but he got by and set his sights on the next cars ahead of him, some of which had built a sizeable gap. McElgun benefitted from cars ahead battling each other and reeled them in, and took the lead and the win. This was a fun one.
