This is the kind of start that makes your day, the kind that makes you feel like a super hero.
NASA Northeast driver Taylor Johnson pounces at the Spec3 start at Summit Point for the Fall Brawl, and gets a great jump on his competition, so great he is able to pass four cars by the time he gets to Turn 1.
Johnson had thrown a drive belt in the first race, so he started from the back for this race. He was able to catch P1 and P2, but since they were running same lap times, he wasn’t able to get any farther ahead and finished third.
It’s really cool that we get to watch the “foot cam” in relation to the waving of the green flag. Fascinating perspective.
