Bloody weather.

NASA Great Lakes racer Bob Denton and the entire Camaro-Mustang Challenge field went out for their race under skies that looked like they might hold. However, after a formation lap and a lap under full-course caution, the field took the green flag for the standing start, and less than one lap in, the skies open up.

Before the field ever gets to the back straight at Autobahn Country Club, the wipers go on full time and wheel spin, and the hunt for grip begins. On Hoosier RCES dry tires, Denton drops two here and there, but manages to make some good passes and handle the truly awful conditions.

It’s probably one of the slowest racing videos ever shown for the NASA Racing Gear Store Move of the Month, but anyone who has tried to manage a rain race on dry tires can identify. Nice work.
