The Mazda Race of NASA Champions was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, with all the emotional highs and lows that come along with it. NASA racers got to taste the champagne, kiss the girl, drive the track, walk the track and race on the track that occupies a slot in so many drivers’ bucket lists. They even got to run alongside the two new 2016 Global MX-5 Cup cars in their first public testing debut on track. Once in a lifetime, indeed.
