Without a doubt, the first question asked after NASA announced it was hosting the 2022 NASA Championships at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca was what the sound limits would be, and now that it’s official, we can answer that question: 105 dB.

“Getting those high-limit days costs a sanctioning body substantially more in fees, but we wanted the 2022 NASA Championships to be open to as many competitors as possible,” said NASA Vice President Jeremy Croiset. “The last time we held our event at this amazing facility, we also secured the 105 dB days that proved an excellent fit for our members. That gave us the confidence we needed to ensure we could host another historic NASA Championships at this world famous track and we couldn’t be more thrilled at this announcement.”

Registration for the 2022 NASA Championships will open in March 2022. As in years past, the NASA Easy Pay program will be available to competitors nationwide, with a small deposit due upon registration and the balance of entry fees due by late summer 2022.
