If you didn’t already know from the direct emails sent to NASA members last Thursday and again on Monday, registration for the 15th annual NASA Championships Presented by Toyo Tires is now open. Early entrants can take advantage of discounted entry fees, and increase your competitive advantage on track. Here’s how.
Grids for Friday morning warmup will be based on the order of registration. The earlier you sign up, the farther forward you will be on grid for the first warmup. The fastest lap times from Friday’s warmup will determine the grid for Friday qualifying. Signing up early could pay dividends on track in Daytona!
We’re shooting for a NASA record 500 entries between racing and Time Trial, so grids will be full. Visit nasachampionships.com to get the prime spots on grid and help us make history at Daytona International Speedway!
“Since we began hosting NASA Championships races in 2006, this is one of our most exciting moments,” said NASA Vice President, Jeremy Croiset. “We take great pride in the Championships venues we choose for our drivers, and Daytona International Speedway has such a rich history. When our drivers take to the high banks, they’ll be out there racing on the same hallowed ground as some of the greatest drivers of our lifetimes. It’s thrilling to be able to offer NASA drivers the chance to race at Daytona.”
