The NASA Hawaii Region hosted an amazing final event of the 2024 autocross season. Thanks to a year of successful events, the NASA Hawaii Region was able to make another donation to Make-A-Wish Hawaii. The club has been consistent in its support, and this year’s donation brings our total to more than $11,000 over the years.

The NASA Hawaii Region also fulfilled a wish for an incredible wish kid and his family. Kai N., who recently won his battle with cancer, and his family enjoyed a series of ride-alongs in some really cool cars. Our participants offered them rides in a variety of cars, ranging from supercars to wild Miata builds!

NASA Hawaii also provided a small bento-box lunch as a thank-you to all our participants. Island Craves LLC came through with a last-minute order of 70 bentos. A huge thanks to Anna G. and Justin G. and their family for handling the logistics of the lunch delivery for everyone. It was great to see all the participants enjoying lunch and each other’s company for a while.

Special thanks to Cameron D. for letting us borrow the keys to an awesome Ferrari. With his help, we were able to create lifetime memories for a special young man and his family. More thanks go to our incredible core group for everything they have done to start this club and keep it running safely and smoothly.

Lastly, a huge thanks to all of our participants. You are the only reason we can host these awesome events. The support from the NASA National office has also contributed to the NASA Hawaii Region’s continued success.

This was a bittersweet event as it was our last event at Aloha Stadium. The parking lot we use is being closed due to future redevelopment of the site. We are actively looking for new sites and hope to host more events at new venues in the future.
