On Saturday, Jon Van Caneghem took the pole for Super Unlimited with a blistering lap of 1:28.092. In Super Touring 1, Bryan MacMillan got the pole with a lap of 1:37.686 in his Lotus Evora. Bob Stebbins was on pole in STR3 with a time of 1:41.824 in his Mazda RX-7. Donn Vickrey of Carlsbad, Calif., had the pole for American Iron Xtreme with a 1:40.816 lap. In CMC2, Aaron Schroeder of Atwater, California had the pole with a 1:45.917. Tyler Thompson qualified first in his ST3 BMW M3 with a 1:41.433 lap.
Van Caneghem easily won from pole in Super Unlimited, winning by almost 28 seconds. MacMillan put the green Lotus Evora in victory circle in Super Touring 1. Schroeder won the CMC2 race by more than 12 seconds in his Mustang over the Camaro of Michael Plum. In STR3 James Wagaman won from second place beating Stebbins in the process. In American Iron Xtreme, Vickrey won in his 2008 Mustang beating Ryan Walton’s Mustang by 21 seconds.
On Sunday, Team Davidson Racing 1 converted the pole into a win in Super Unlimited beating five other cars. MacMillan was on the top of every session for Super Touring 1 in his Lotus and won again in the field of one. Stebbins turned pole into a win in STR3 in his Mazda RX-7. Adam Ginsberg of Ventura, Calif., won by almost a second in CMC2 in his Mustang. In American Iron Xtreme, Vickrey made it two for two by winning again on Sunday.
