At Buttonwillow Raceway in June, NASA SoCal showcased a thrilling Spec E46 race, highlighting the prowess of its seasoned drivers.
Piloting a red and black BMW 330ci, Andrew Clark clinched victory on Saturday with a fastest lap time of 2:03.361 on his second lap. Michael Mihld followed closely, finishing just 0.557 seconds behind Clark, recording a lap time of 2:03.433, also on his second lap. Both drivers were supported by their sponsors, Sovereign Garage and Track Fanatic respectively. Completing the top three was Team Legacy Motorworks PB, trailing by 1.267 seconds with a fastest lap of 2:03.686.
On Sunday, Andrew Clark repeated his success, leading the field in Spec E46 with a commanding fastest lap time of 1:58.015 on his fourth lap. Michael Mihld improved his performance from the previous day, reducing his fastest lap to 1:57.551, which was the quickest of the race, but still finished 4.931 seconds behind Clark. Team Shift Faced Racing rounded out the top three, trailing by 7.349 seconds with a best lap of 1:58.657.
These events underscored the intense competition and skill within the Spec E46 class, providing spectators with a weekend filled with exciting motorsport action.
