Registration for the 2021 25 Hours of Thunderhill Opens August 1

Will you be there to take the green flag at this year’s 25 Hours of Thunderhill Presented by Hawk Performance? Register early so you can start preparing now!

The pageantry is back, the drama, the challenge, the triumph!

Registration is set to open for the 2021 25 Hours of Thunderhill Presented by Hawk Performance on August 1, and this year’s event will enjoy a little twist. In a move to commemorate the lack of an event in 2020 due to COVID-19, NASA Executive Director Jerry Kunzman has tacked on an additional 25 minutes to the 2021 event. The race begins at 11 a.m. December 4 and ends the following day at 12:25 p.m.

Teams are encouraged to register early because all numbers are assigned first-come, first served in the order in which they are received, and vehicle numbers cannot be three digits.

You can find all relevant information, endurance and supplemental rules here. Also be sure to check out all the action from the 2019 event on NASA’s YouTube Channel.

The grid crackles with energy before the 25 Hours of Thunderhill Presented by Hawk Performance. It’s the calm before the storm at North America’s longest closed-course endurance race. And for 2021, it’s 25 minutes longer.
