Wilwood engineered big brake upgrade kits to upgrade 1999-2012 Porsche 911s, generations 996 and 997, to modern performance standards. Oversized rotors, bigger than the Turbo or Carrera 4 models, are managed by Wilwood’s motorsports-proven forged aluminum calipers for greater brake torque and fade resistance for front and rear applications.
Aerolite forged-aluminum six-piston front calipers feature stainless-steel pistons, high temperature seals and a central stiffening bridge. Front two-piece 356mm (14”) x 32mm (1.25”) proprietary Spec37 iron alloy rotors are nearly 38mm (1.5”) larger than OE and bolt to lightweight forged aluminum mounting hats. Rear kits feature the latest evolution of the venerable forged aluminum Superlite caliper, with pistons sized to maintain proper brake bias. Rear one-piece 330mm (12.98”) x 28mm
(1.10”) premium iron alloy rotors are 31mm (1.22”) larger than OE.
Black E-coated rotors are offered in GTB slotted or SRP drilled and slotted faces. Kits are designed to work with OE master cylinder and ABS systems. High-performance BP-10 street brake pads are standard in both kits, with other street and track compounds available. Calipers are finished in Le Mans yellow, gloss red or black powder coat. There are 23 additional color options, but additional charges may apply. Retail price for the front kit is $2,717 at time of publication. The rear kit retails for $1,295 at time of publication.
