This one is brought to you by NASA Rocky Mountain Time Trial Director Patrick Mizenko. He wanted to keep an accurate record of his tire pressures and temperatures and his suspension setup, so he created the Race Car Companion, a trackside notebook designed specifically for road course racing drivers.

“I looked on Amazon and a few other sources to see if there was anything already out there. Unfortunately I didn’t find anything that would suit my needs, analog or digital,” Mizenko said. “Digital tools were too difficult to enter information into after a session and had way too many fields to fill out that were not relevant to me. They also relied on cell signal/ wifi and battery charge, which could be a challenge in the paddock. The few paper journals I could find on the market were for drag racing or dirt racing. Nothing specific to circuit racing let alone Time Trial where I compete.”

So, Mizenko set out to create something that was made with quality materials, a hard cover, was easy to write on and in and was durable, and the Race Car Companion is the end result. Soon his peers were asking how to get their own copy of the Racecar Companion, so he started publishing them on Amazon. Now you can get it on Amazon for just $39.95.
