This motorsport lightweight Lexan/Makrolon polycarbonate louvered window kit is designed for E46 cars using standard glass shapes, fiberglass-reinforced plastic-framed door fitments, or Flossman FRP door fitments. The louvered rear quarter windows included in this kit are supplied in 3mm polycarbonate and are not hard-coated.
Manufactured from high-quality polycarbonate sheets, these windows offer approximately 50 percent weight savings compared to glass of the same thickness and provide UV protection against sunlight discoloration. They are accurately molded to match the curvature of OEM glass for a precise fit, feature CNC profile cutting for readiness, and where applicable, come with a pre-applied black border with detailed DOT matrix serigraphy. The vacuum-formed louvered rear quarter windows are a key component, and if tinted options are chosen, the polycarbonate is self-colored throughout the sheet.
