Tucked conveniently between the bargain AiM Solo and AiM’s more expensive data logging system is the new MXm, a compact dash logger with big features to put all the information you need right at your fingertips. It samples and shows key info like speed, lap times, RPM, gears, data from a nine-axis inertial platform, multiple math channels and much more. It is compact (5.4 x 3.5 x 1.3 in.), making it perfect for sports cars and bikes, and it’s plug-and-play for ease-of-use. Complete but simple, MXm is the perfect device for both Pro and Amateur drivers.
A Wide Range Of Data Sources
MXm samples data from your ECU, its internal GPS and inertial platform (accelerometer, gyro and magnetometer), four fully configurable analog inputs, three digital inputs (two speed + one coil RPM input), and predefined math channels. For the most demanding, the MXm can be connected to the Lambda controller and a SmartyCam HD to create a fully-integrated AiM information suite.
Integrated Shift Lights and Alarm
MXm features a five-LED shift light array. Choose from a host of advanced multicolored RGB shift light patterns that can be customized to your needs, and for each unique gear when required. MXm also features two fully configurable RGB alarm LEDs: you can choose the conditions that turn them on/off, their color, and select a solid alarm or flashing one (and the flash frequency.)
Two Power Outputs
MXm features two power outputs that can supply up to 15A each. These outputs can turn on/off depending on the value of analog or digital inputs to the MXm. They can automatically actuate external systems, such as switching on/off additional lights, activating/de-activating cooling fans or circulation pumps, etc.
Sharp Liquid Crystal Display
MXm features a high contrast LCD display with an outstanding black to white ratio. The wide 268 x 128-pixel graphical LCD offers great flexibility in information display and alerts. The screen can be backlighted in one of the seven available colors, and an ambient light sensor keeps the backlight at optimum brightness.
Choose your own data layout
You can organize the huge quantity of data captured by MXm into your own custom pages, choosing from a wide range of page styles, data to be shown, their end of scale and unit of measure. At the end of each session, you can review an on-screen summary of your best laps, max/min RPM, speed and temperatures.
Wi-Fi Connectivity
Makes it even more convenient to configure, calibrate, and download your data wirelessly, using a secure 802.11 connection. No need to move your PC close to the vehicle anymore, you can do it from your trailer up to 50 yards away.
SmartyCam HD cameras
SmartyCam on-board cameras, for professional recording of your races, with your real-time data overlayed on videos.
Race Studio 3, the almighty software
Race Studio 3 is the true ‘engine’ of your MXm. With Race Studio 3 you can analyze all data recorded by MXm and downloaded to your PC: graphs, histograms and tables help you study your performance, providing an objective support to correct mistakes and improve your driving. You can even compare two laps watching the video recorded by SmartyCam HD cameras! RS3 can create, modify, delete, import and export MXm configurations with all channels, ECU drivers, math channels, display pages, digital outputs, alarms, shift lights and expansions. $1,099.
