If you’re looking to “unlock” the potential of your tow vehicle, Edge has a line of tuners to do just that. The one pictured here is for 2014-2019 Chevrolet and GMC HD pickups powered by the Duramax diesel engine, but Edge makes products for a broad range of applications, including nearly all Ram models and Ford pickups.
The tuner first unlocks the factory GM ECU so it can deploy its stored tunes, including those for heavy- and light-duty towing, fuel economy and extreme.
Users can use it to recalibrate the speedometer for different tire sizes, adjust tire pressure monitoring system settings and read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, and more. This Edge tuner is 49-state legal, with CARB executive order submissions in process. $746.96 at time of publication.
