This enhanced version takes the well-known design to new heights, featuring an improved global shutter and the ability to capture video at up to 60 frames per second. Unlike conventional action cameras that cater to various extreme activities like skydiving or riding monstrous waves, the SmartyCam HD is meticulously crafted by dedicated motorsports enthusiasts who live and breathe the racetrack.
Its narrow angle lens is specifically tailored for seamless mounting in sedans and sports cars, neatly fitting within the A-pillars for optimal placement. SmartyCam 3 Corsa camera overlays all the data from both GPS and AiM loggers connected to your ECU.
All data received from the CAN bus and from the internal sensors are recorded in .mp4 files produced at the end of your test, your SD (or MSD) Card contains all the information you need for a deep data analysis. SD card sold separately.
The video of a whole session, once downloaded on your PC, can now be split – with a simple click – in individual videos of each lap: so that you can simultaneously watch two of them and check where you were faster or slower.The same operation can be performed with a SmartyCam 3 Sport video recorded on the same track: you will be able to compare your best lap with your friends personal best!
