NASA’s industry-leading contingency program from Toyo Tires has been renewed for 2025! The good news is that the decal and claiming requirements have not changed. The better news is that the payouts have been increased over those from the 2024 racing season!

For example, in Spec3, when there are five to eight starters, Toyo Tires will pay out $375 in Toyo Bucks for first, $175 for second and $125 for third. In Spec Miata, when there are 19 or more starters, first place pays $525 in Toyo Bucks, with $275 going to second and $175 for third. Fourth and fifth get $125 and $80 respectively. These are just examples. There are more increases across the board.

There also are great payouts for open tire classes! The 2025 program includes Time Trial and racing competitors, and the Time Trial Target program.

Toyo Tires Championships payouts remain the best in all of amateur motorsports, and regional championships payouts also have been increased.

NASA and Toyo Tires have a long history together, and the 2025 contingency program is a testament to the strength of our partnership and to Toyo’s commitment to NASA competitors,” said NASA CEO Jeremy Croiset. “The program we have been able to put together this year is, once again, extraordinary, and it will help our drivers make the most of the 2025 racing season.”
