At press time, entries for the Toyo Tires Classic had reached 90 cars. Offering the largest purse in the history of amateur road racing, the Toyo Tires Classic seeks to attract at least 125 cars to maximize the prize money available to the winning driver. Upward of $80,000 is available if the entries exceed 115 cars.
Because Circuit of the Americas limits the number of cars on track to 85, Spec Miata will be split into two run groups. Each group will be eligible for cash prizes, including two hard charger awards and five $1,000 prizes awarded at random.
