Preparations for the 2021 NASA Championships Presented by Toyo Tires are so far along that NASA will be able to open registration for the event on Monday, March 15.
“We are hoping to put on the biggest Championships event in our history,” said NASA Vice President Jeremy Croiset. “To give our drivers as much time to plan and set their schedules, we are opening registration earlier than we ever have before.”
NASA racers and Time Trial competitors will take to the same high banks and challenging infield as IMSA drivers in the 24 Hours of Daytona. The action takes Sept. 16-19, 2021.
“The number 500 and Daytona International Speedway go together like peanut butter and jelly,” Croiset said. “In light of that, we’d love to make history at Daytona by bringing together more than 500 competitors from across the country. With no Championships event in 2020, we want 2021 to be our biggest event ever. Our drivers deserve nothing less.”
That’s awesome work, keep up the good work!
