If you are looking for lots of competition at this year’s NASA Championships presented by Toyo Tires, you are going to find it.

Registration for this year’s Championships at Circuit of the Americas has topped 400 cars in Time Trial and racing. Scheduled for Sept. 13-16, this year’s event is shaping up to the be the biggest NASA Championships ever.

Spec Miata has attracted 90 cars. Spec E30 is nearing 40 entries and Super Touring 4, a class in only its second year in existence has attracted 21 entries from across the country. What’s more, Super Unlimited, the fastest class in all of NASA has racked up 15 entries. That race is going to be epic.

German Touring Series 1-4 has accumulated 40 entries overall, the majority of which will race in GTS3, with 17 entries. 944 Spec has 15 entries and American Iron has 20 cars. In Camaro-Mustang Challenge, 15 cars so far are set to take the green at COTA.

In Spec E46, 18 cars are signed up. Thunder Roadsters is looking to get more than the 11 cars currently registered. If Time Trial is your thing, realize you’ll be in a field of at least 57 cars.
