NASA and Mazda Motorsports have just put the finishing touches on new contingency programs for 2025.

The most exciting program is also the newest for 2025. Time Trial competitors now qualify for Mazda Motorsports contingencies for regional championships competition. Mazda Motorsports will pay $600 for a first-place finish for a regional Time Trial championship, $300 for second and $250 for third.

Rules allow one Time Trial championship per region per competitor. Competitors may earn a racing Championship and a Time Trial championship in a single season.

Mazda Motorsports also has enhanced its TT contingency program for the NASA Championships, which will take place this year Sept. 4-7 at Ozarks International Raceway in Missouri. First place prize money rises to $750, with $600 for second, $300 for third, $200 for fourth and $150 for fifth.

Mazda Motorsports also offers a Tow Fund for the NASA Championships. The Championships Tow Fund is available to current regional season points leaders. Points leaders will be determined through the use of Speed Hive regional points standings, and mileage calculations will be determined by Mazda Motorsports.

Racing contingency programs will continue unchanged from 2024 for all Mazda and Mazda-powered cars, which, by the way, includes the NASA Prototype.
