Highlighting the tight competition in Spec Miata in the NASA Northeast Region, Jim Tramontano’s side-by-side action from New Jersey Motorsports Park was popular enough and tight enough to take the clear majority of votes in May Move of the Month contest. Tramontano will take the $100 gift code to the NASA Racing Gear Store Operated by OG Racing!
Tramontano took 38.2 percent of the vote this month. Coming in second was Charles Ford at 24.4 percent with Nick Fuller in third at 20.3 percent and Teen Mazda Challenge driver Joey Andrews in fourth.
NASA Northeast Spec Miata drivers Jim Tramontano, Chris Graham in the white car and Benjamin Miller in the red car do battle on the Thunderbolt course at New Jersey Motorsports Park for second through fourth spots. They’re three-wide through the tightest sections of the track and swapping positions, all with no contact — that we know of. Throw in a little bump-drafting to spice things up and you can begin to see why these cars and this class remain so popular. Well done, gents.
