For 2021, all NASA members can get a 10 percent discount on VR1 and RC1 tires. TREC competitors enjoy 20 percent discounts on VR1 tires only. To get started, NASA members will need to fill out the registration form to get your discount codes. Maxxis will tie the discount code to the registration to limit misuse.
In addition to the discounts, Maxxis also will award up to four free tires to winners at the NASA Championships and to endurance class winners where there are five or more starters. For regional sprint racing competition, the Maxxis program will award winners two free tires in classes with five or more starters. Second- and third-place finishers also can win tires as part of the 2021 contingency program.
The contingency program is essentially the same as 2020 with a new restriction: A maximum of four tires can be claimed per event and a maximum of eight tires may be claimed by each driver during the 2021 racing season.
