NASA’s contingency programs are, without question, the finest in amateur racing, and Maxxis has just made its program even better for 2025. Starting this year, Maxxis is awarding free tires not only for first, second and third place, but now also for fourth-place finishers when there are five or more starters. First place wins two free tires. Second- through fourth-place finishers earn one tire apiece.

The program is open to Spec E30, which requires use of the Maxxis RC-1 tire, but also open-tire series such as American Iron Extreme, endurance racing, German Touring Series, Super Touring and Time Trial. It is worth noting that endurance series awards can be claimed in addition to sprint racing or Time Trial awards. Yes, of course, you must have the required Maxxis decals placed on your car and send in photos for proof, but the 2025 program is better than ever.

As in years past, Maxxis tires are offered at discounted prices to NASA members. They are available for purchase at shop.maxxis.com or through AIM Tires and Phil’s Tire service. Contingency prizes can be redeemed only at shop.maxxis.com.

Drivers interested in the program can learn more on the Maxxis Contingencies page on DriveNASA.com.
