A hot lap in Time Trial competition has been the hot ticket the last couple of months in the NASA Racing Gear Store Move of the Month contest. Time Trial drivers also took the win in the monthly contests in March and April, and the NASA Nation voted again for a TT driver in the June Contest.

Driving the Team Auto Solve TT1 Chevrolet Corvette C6 to a lap record at Chuckwalla, Eric Kennel picked up 37 percent of the votes to take first place and earn a $100 gift code to the NASA Racing Gear Store Operated by OG Racing! Coming in second at 24 percent was Kaan Canturk with his evasive maneuvers at HyperFest. Chris Drum came in third in the contest, with Tom Burke in fourth.

Eric Kennel spends many of his weekends at the track jumping back and forth between a TT6 Toyota MR2 and the Team Auto Solve TT1 C6 Corvette Z06. It’s not an easy transition to make, but Kennel has it down to the point where he was able to pick up the TT1 lap record in the Vette at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway.

Kennel gets a nice clean lap on one of the most enjoyable tracks in the NASA Southern California Region, and logged a 1:45.34-second lap time. Great lap with that glorious General Motors LS soundtrack. Enjoy.
