Hankook jumped in with a with its first NASA contingency program at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill in 2019, with the intent to launch a full program in 2020. Well, then 2020 happened and most NASA drivers weren’t able to capitalize on the program.

For 2021, Hankook is back with programs for regional and the National Championships for cars running on Hankook Z214 and F200 tires. Prizes range from $50 gift certificates for third-place finishes in regional competition with five to nine cars starting the race, to awarding eight new F200 tires for Championships races with more than 10 starters.

The programs are open to competitors in American Iron Extreme, German Touring Series, endurance series, Super Touring and Time Trial. For more information, visit the NASA Contingencies site.
