The name of the game for getting your spot in the 2022 NASA Championships is simple: Register early.
By registering early, you can reserve your spot in the 2022 NASA Championships for $1,299 through April 30. Registration opens at 11 a.m. PST March 28.
The earlier you register, the better your grid spot for Friday practice, which can pay dividends for qualifying. Time Trial entry fees are $799 through April 30. The Thursday test day costs $449, and is open to WERC competitors interested in track time before Monday’s 6.5-hour race. Garage space is limited and will be available for $1,299.
“The NASA team has worked hard to put together the most cost-effective racing options for our 2022 NASA Championships competitors,” said NASA Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Croiset. “We knew our competitors wanted the highest sound limits and the largest fields to compete against, and those two items are among a litany of other factors that have had an outsized effect on entry fees this year. When you factor in the generous amount of track time built into our typical NASA Championships schedule, we’re confident our event still provides competitors with some of the best value in the country.”
Racers and TT drivers can take advantage of the Easy Pay program. For just $299 now, you can reserve your spot at the early-bird rate, with the balance due by July 31. As in years past, fees will rise as the event draws nearer. The Easy Pay reservation fee increases to $399 on May 1 and ends May 31.
Due to the 45-car-per-run-group limit set by Laguna space will be limited at this year’s NASA Championships. Register early to secure your place in the history of sports car racing on the Monterey Peninsula!
