The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) has launched a significantly improved Hawk Performance Contingency program for the current season, featuring a completely revamped registration and claim process now fully integrated into the NASA member profile system. Hawk Performance continues its long-standing partnership as the official brake product of NASA.
This major update streamlines the entire contingency experience, moving away from previous methods and centralizing all interactions within each member’s online profile at the official NASA website.
One Place for Everything
Under the new system, NASA members will manage all aspects of the Hawk Performance contingency – including initial registration, eligibility checks, claim submissions, and accessing earned awards – directly through the Contingencies section of their member profile.
Simplified Annual Registration
Registration is now a convenient, one-time annual process within the member profile. Competitors select their eligible race class(es) and vehicle, upload four required photos showing proper Hawk Performance decal placement, and agree to the program terms. Once submitted, the registration requires approval before claims can be made.
Streamlined Claims Process
After registration approval, eligible events will automatically populate within the member’s profile. Submitting a claim has been simplified significantly, requiring only the member’s finishing position and a link to the official event results for verification. Approved vouchers or promo codes will then be accessible directly within the “Contingency Claims” area of their profile.
Members can also submit claims retroactively through this new system for eligible events completed earlier in the current year.
Eligibility and Phased Claim Rollout
The Hawk Performance Contingency program welcomes participation from NASA race drivers, time trial competitors, HPDE participants, and instructors. For racers and time trial drivers competing in eligible series, program eligibility primarily requires displaying the correct Hawk Performance decals per the official rules. Specific requirements apply to HPDE participants and instructors.
Importantly, the online claim submission process is launching now for NASA racers and time trial drivers. Integration for HPDE drivers and instructors to submit claims through the online system will follow and be announced at a later date.
Awards in the form of “Hawk Bucks,” redeemable on the Hawk Performance website, are available for top finishers in eligible classes across NASA Regional competition, National Championships, and Endurance Racing. Payout structures vary based on the competition type and number of starters. For complete payout details and eligible series, members should consult the official program rules.
