Sometimes it’s not about the racing. It’s about the family. At the last NASA Northeast event of 2019, the instructions were clear: Bring a table, chairs and seven friends. One by one, the tables were lined up and set for dinner until the garage was one long, huge table with 102 place settings! Then, through the magic of our food team headed up by Tammy Kush, everyone was soon eating a sit-down dinner of roast turkey, ham, stuffing, potatoes, vegetables, salad and dinner rolls! We were one big, happy family enjoying what keeps us all related: the love of motorsports, competition and “family.” Oh, and yes, lots of pies!
