When it comes to helmets, it is difficult to pick one. There are a lot of really nice helmets for under $1k, but in my opinion, the RS7 is likely the best. The RS7’s fit favors drivers with an intermediate oval head, but many long-oval drivers also will find it to be very comfortable. Bell did an exceptional job on the interior. You will quickly feel the multi-density foam liner, allowing the padding touching your face to be soft and comfortable while maintaining all the needed structure to guard against heavy impacts. Next on the feature list is the airflow. With large intakes and numerous exhaust vents, fresh air is sure to move freely throughout the helmet. The RS7 also is available in carbon, ultra-light carbon, and duckbill versions.
