If you are going to race in Camaro-Mustang Challenge, there is hardly a better region for it than NASA Great Lakes — and what better track than Mid-Ohio!
In this thrilling edition of the NASA Racing Gear Store Move of the Month, NASA Great Lakes CMC racer Nick Grossman picks up the action as he dumps the clutch on a standing start on the front straight. Turns out his competitors, No. 6 Jim Mayer and No. 438 Joseph Rose got a better start, but Grossman set out to show them why he had earned a spot on grid ahead of them.
Grossman gets to the inside at China Beach, which puts him on the outside, but eventually on the inside for the entry to Thunder Valley where he gets ahead of Rose. That put Mayer in his sights. Entering the Carousel, he makes up distance on Mayer and then seals the deal on the exit onto the front straight. Time to begin the race all over again. Grossman finished the race just off the podium in fourth with Mayer and Rose just behind him. Well done, gents.
