Brandon Pantas was driving a Thunder Roadster at the NASA Mid-Atlantic/Southeast combined event at VIRginia International Raceway in October. Having seen the E30 getting into trouble in the turn before it happened, Pantas knew the other driver was going too fast to correct his mistake. Pantas veered right because he could tell the spinning car was slowing down, and the other driver either would have had it stopped or would have over-corrected and gone shooting the other way by the time Pantas got there.
