There are a couple of things worth noting here. One, if you’ll be racing in Spec E30 in Daytona at the 2021 NASA Championships Presented by Toyo Tires, this is a good video to help you prepare. Two, driver Carlos Mendez has some fine car control skills. Three, how he knows when to shift is a mystery — the tach appears to be broken — as is why a NASA Florida driver doesn’t have working windshield wipers.
Those items noted, this video is a hoot to watch from front to back. This is the kind of race you always hope to have while you’re sitting on grid. Enjoy some great Spec E30 racing from Daytona.
