At a NASA/PRC race at Sonoma Raceway, driver Mike Hedlund found himself in a bit of a dilemma. In the fast and treacherous Turn 10, the driver of an earlier model Porsche 911 went wide left into the grass, tried to get his car back on track and went into a tank slapper. Therein lies the dilemma. Go right and risk being in the path of leading car. Veer left and risk going off in the dirt and being collected if he overcorrects. Hedlund juked left and narrowly avoided the dirt and the other car. Once he was past, he was back on the gas and back in the game.
